Consultants/agents licence agreement - LIC 9

Formal agreement where you instruct a consultant to perform a particular function for you. This is a general licensing authority in favour of the consultant/agent to act on your behalf and to utilise any know-how, trademark, software, intellectual property (general) in pursuit of the licence arrangement.

Sample

1.1 accept this Agreement at the same time it is engaged by the Company;

1.2 be bound by and warrant the accuracy of all descriptions, values and other particulars furnished to the Company by the Consultant;

1.3 ensure that it and all its employees (if any) act ethically and comply with all the necessary laws, licensing requirements and regulatory and statutory requirements relating to consumer and commercial finance including all requirements of the Consumer Credit (Victoria) Code 1996 (Vic) and the Finance Brokers Control Act 1975 (Vic) or where the Client Support Staff is carrying on business outside Victoria the corresponding legislation in force in the relevant State or Territory of Australia:

1.4 perform the Services;

1.5 be employed on a probationary period of three months. If during that period the company concludes that the Consultant is unsatisfactory, the Company may terminate this agreement;

1.6 must at its own cost attend all monthly sales meetings, training days and satisfy the Company on the Company?s reporting mechanism;

1.7 in all correspondence and other dealings clearly indicate that the Consultant is acting as Consultant of the Company..."
